The name is the same as my previous blog post, in which I mentioned I was gonna start making basic tutorials. Currently I've made a few basic tutorials, and they can all be found in the 'tutorials' folder in the Mega folder where my public models are located. I have, I think 4 or 5, and they go over things from simply opening a model and setting it up for rendering, basic navigation of Blender, to importing models into another scene, and basic animation. So check those out if you're a beginner. Maybe watch some other basic videos about how to navigate Blender first, and that'll make things a little easier. So check those out if you want some basic info on how to use my models.

There are tons of tutorial videos, but many of them are incredibly long, and not very relevant to what most people will be doing with models like mine. I already have a couple tutorial videos in the Mega folder where my models are, but I'm going to be coming out with a few more simple little tutorial videos to start people in the right direction when picking up Blender for the first time to work with my models, or others like them. Like, how to start using models, how to import other models into a scene, how to pose, how to render, basic stuff like that. And then people can watch actual tutorials for the advanced stuff like animating once they're ready. I'll make another post about it when I actually start doing it.

This man here has stolen a LOT of people's art, and has put it on his own website, charging people money to see it, and advertising on DA. He's cropped out my watermarks. I've reported him, I've reported the individual posts, but Deviantart is... Uhh, very, very shit. So I doubt anything will happen. But if everyone wants to go report this guy, that'd be great.

Moreover, if anyone recognizes the other art in that gallery, and knows the artists, reach out to them too, and let them know. Every day this dude's subscriber count shoots up, because Deviantart isn't dealing with it.

As I said in my last two model posts, I’m trying to upload more of my existing models for people to use. I’m sure everyone has a favorite of my models I’ve made, so, what models would people like me to upload next for you to use?

Well I figured what the hell. I absolutely despise Twitter. I hate the layout of the site and I do not understand how to use it. But somehow, inexplicably, a lot of people use it. How do they use it? No idea, but they do. A lot of them. Personally I don’t get it. I like Ekas, this is how a website should work.

But, I figured I’d make a Twitter. Because apparently it’s popular. Tell all your friends. I’m definitely not gonna be posting on there much, I’ll still MAINLY post here, because this is my home site really. But I will be posting most of my animations. I do. I've updated all the Pony models to Version 1.1.2, fixing many texture issues caused by Blender 3.5. I also updated them all to the new pose library system, and packaged all their texture files into the Blend file itself. They've been updated on the Mega, and the Gumroad.

I hate Discord. More of a Teamspeak guy personally, but all the artists have Discords, so why should I deprive you guys of one? The downside is that this officially makes me a Discord mod. But whatever, I can’t get much more cringe than I already am.

Some of you may have already heard the news on Discord, or seen the link I discreetly posted on my page description. But I have opened a Subscribestar. I'm not replacing Patreon, not yet anyway, but if you have a Subscribestar account, I'd prefer it if you moved over there.

The reason for this, is that Patreon takes a very large amount of my income every month for platform fees. The platform fees on Subscribestar are way less. Also, Subscribestar is a lot more creator-friendly, even if it is a little harder to use. They allow a lot more than Patreon does, and seem to be more supportive of their creators.

I have an animation project I’m working on now, it should be wrapped up in a day or two, but I’d love some good sound effects for it. I’m a little busy right now with family stuff, so I can’t spend hours browsing the internet for sound effects like I usually could. So I wonder if you guys might be willing to help me out a little bit. I’m looking for a few things, but mainly I need the sounds of a girl barking/woofing (not a dog, it has to be a girl doing it, a real girl.) and some whining would be nice too.

For the barking, it can be like… actual barking, or just literally “woof! Woof!” Stuff. A little of both would be good. I know Pornhub probably has a lot of stuff like that, but I don’t really have time to browse myself rn.

I've decided that in addition to Mega, I'm gonna start uploading my public models to Gumroad as well, with a "pay if you want" if people wanna tip, but don't want to pledge to my Patreon. Not to worry, they'll still be totally free if you don't want to pay anything. For the time being I'll still be uploading them to Mega as well, but Mega has always been kind of a temporary thing until I found a better way to do it. But we'll see how this gumroad thing works out.

Uploading the models to Gumroad will be a gradual process, and as I upload certain models I'll be sure to update the descriptions of the posts on here to reflect that. To start I'll be uploading the Ponies, but the rest will follow shortly.
