With the release of the chapter 6 of the VGame, I took a little break from the VGame and work on the Vorelands.

The Vorelands is my other game project. It is (or will be) another RPG. Unlike the VGame game, it won't be a linear RPG, it will be more like an open world RPG.
There won't be a story to follow from A to B, but more like a lot of events and quests that may or may not be related to one another. Also, unlike the VGame, there is alot
of thing that can be configured and changed (like skills, stats, possible sex of characters, scat, etc.) Every thing is in XMl file, which can be edited with any basic software like notepad.
This will also make the game compatible with Macs and Linux OS.

The game engine is not near finished, in fact almost...

Hi,

Well, I use my break in writing conversations to write down about my vore projects. The VGame isn't my only project. In fact have two others.

The first one is the VGame. This my main project, so I work on this one first. Working on the game is not fun at it was. Everything has become repetitive, from sprites creations to map making even passing by conversations. I guess this is link to the fact that I made so far around 400 sprites and more than 100 conservations. Also, one of my interest when I start this project is programming. Unfortunatly the programming time is now long gone. There is still few modifications to the code from times to times but that doesn't really count as programming. Still my desire from programming is what made unbirthing and anal vore...

Hi,

Since there isn't new bugs in the chapter 4, It is time that I start working on the next chapter. (It is not true since I already made one sprite.)

Before I really start, I want to take a few instants to thanks Throku, Deathworks, Paradox, wsensor and all others for reporting bugs.

Also, I want to thanks Reiko for finding some sprites and for giving me some ideas for the school; and I want to thank Iceninja for his support.

Now, For the chapter 5, most of the action will be in the barbarians moutains. There will probably don't have much change in the game engine. I pretty much reach the maximum of the modifications I can do before doing some that will screw up saved games.
AS for the game content, I will try to aim at...

Hi,

The chapter 4 is advancing slowly. Too slowly for my taste. I finally reach the next big city, so I have at least 60% of the work to do. I already made 40 new sprites for this chapter which is a lot. Normally a chapter contains 50 sprites, so I will probably bust this number big time.

On the technical note, I have added a little more info in the creature statistics like who is digesting who and what the state of the creature digestion (is it in the stomach, intestines, etc.)

Also, I have added two new type of bonus : one allow you to regain mana each turn while the other give you the ability to gain mana while digesting someone (and the same time damaging her mana).

Hi, here a little update on the status of the chapter 4 :

I have the impression that the game advance slowly, but it is not so bad since I started last month. As I write, I already made 21 new creatures sprites. They are primely used in the main outdoors areas of the chapter four.

Also, I have corrected the speed, so it work correctly. (The speed factor is something that was implemented in chapter 3 but I didn't tell to anyone because it didn't work well. Anyway, if you press the 'e' key, the speed factor change, increasing the speed of the game.)

As for the script department, I had a few news scripts that allow the script to animate a character, something that was impossible in the past.

Starting Chapter 4 Posted 17 years ago
I will start to work on the chapter 4 soon. So, if you have a suggestion or want to have a bug corrected, this is the time. After that, it will probably have to wait to the release of the chapter 4.

I won't give a date since I don't know when I will finish it. I usually need 4 to 5 months.

Any contributions (conversations and/or sprites) will be greatly appreciated. This will help me create a better game and making it faster.

This will be the last update of the chapter 3 since I have finished scripting it. I have already uploaded it (since sunday), so it should avaiable soon as it is linked to the download page.

Here some teasers :

There is 57 new creatures sprites, ranging from something that can eat you to something else that can eat you.

There is also 7 creatures graphics that have been borrowed from others chapters. (5 from the chapter 1 and 2 from the second chapter).

Around 120 new maps to explore.

Also, I would like to thanks Throku for his contribution of two characters.

Status of VGame Chapter 3 Posted 18 years ago
Hi, I think it time for a second update of state of the chapter 3.

The elven city is mostly finish, which is good since the new city of the chapter is the things that take most time.
What is left to do is one outdoor region, a little village and the 2 primary quest. I have already made 35 new sprites for the game. A chapter has around 50-60 new sprites.

One the engine itself, I make a few modifications. I have added new scripts commands to give more possibility and flexibility to effects generated by scripts.
I have added an event generator when character poop (not very usefull, but it may be used in conversations to give interesting effects.
Also, I added two new types of bonus, one for spellcasting and the other to saving throws.

Hi, I though it would be a good idea to create a blog about the VGame. The goal of this blog is to keep people inform and to discuss possible modifications/ameliorations. Right now, I finished 25% of the third chapter. I’m currently working on the new city of the chapter.
