I almost get embarrassed rereading these things I post, because they are so very gratuitous and everything is so convenient for the protagonist. Sometimes I wonder, can they even be called stories or are they just random scenes? Should I flesh them out more?

Anyway, I just wanted to know, if you’ve read this kind of stories, are you also satisfied when they are as simple as that? Or do you prefer something more complex and with a well-defined plot? Or it doesn’t really matter?
