I am practicing and learning to draw. for now new things people have drawn for me go in a special folder. it seems to have not been clear that "art made by friends" means things that were made for me and I was given permission for

I have some awful drawing, I debate whether to upload.

not quite sure where the name "Martin" came from,but now I have something to work with.
Martin will be either a human or a monkey(probably something furry) and Goldie will be a lion.
I could do a lot with this,since I had been looking for some rigid set instead of firing off tons of extra characters and stories none of which were connected. now I have something I can treat more canonically.

of course, the universe pulling these cruel jokes again I (IRL) have an epic schedule change involving me waking up even earlier than usual and doing even more than before. D:

I was a bit skeptical,to be honest, about whether my drawing would be improved by looking at an image while drawing.
first I drew 2 pictures of Spritz, since I haven't done any yet, but they looked really lame so I decided to see if using an image would help. it worked pretty well
(in fact, I didn't even want to do the fur by hand in case I mess up the lines. I'll color it on my PC and upload later )
