On Writing Posted 18 years ago
Just out of curiosity - is anyone even remotely interested in me taking up writing again?

This question is intended primarily for those who've actually read my works; I'm not interested in the random words of vague well-wishers.
Helpful Tips For The Aspiring Vore Writer Posted 18 years ago
I've been approached literally ones of times by individuals wondering "man, what does it take to be a vore writer, anyway?" After promptly swatting them on the head and telling them to go pick any manner of collected scunge out of their toenails instead, it'd be a much more effective use of their time, it occurred to me that rather than having to address each no one who asks me this question, I'll just take all of my combined wisdom accumulated over the past couple of days on the subject and purge it all into this handy set of tips. Since I no longer write myself, clearly I am the most qualified to do so. So here we go!

Tip no. 1 - Be an Artist

If you're an artist, you can do no wrong; you are the combined Jesus, Allah, Superman, and Mr. Rogers of...

Request Update, & That's A Wrap Posted 18 years ago
Alright, here's how everything's coming along in the story request department; I had to revise my priority system a little due to constant logjamming on certain requests (I can only do these things one at a time; I'd love to multi-task but my concentration and attention span are limited enough as it is): rather than do them in the order recieved, I'm going by whichever ones inspire me the most at the moment. This should move things along a bit more quickly, and I can always go back to the ones I'm stuck on. Anyway, here it is:

Kisiro - 50% (humming along quite nicely; should be done in the next couple days)

Omega - Next in line; I'm gettin to it!

Cownugget - 30% (still logjammed; I'll figure it out eventually)

Gamdann - I'll...

Movement '06, or How Customs Reamed My Ass Posted 18 years ago
Finally, at long last, after three years of either not being able to swing it or simply forgetting about it, I was actually able to attend Movement this year. For the uninitiated, Movement, or the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF), is a three-day festival held every Memorial Day weekend since, I believe, 2003, in downtown Detroit that celebrates the vibrant Detroit Techno scene and the myriad acts it encompasses, old and new. Outside acts also perform there, but it's mostly local DJs tearin' it up on the ones and twos.

Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, I was only able to attend the final day, Monday, when all my choice artists were performing (namely, Chemlab and Nitzer Ebb). My good buddy Mike was supposed to come along, but bailed on me at the last...

Who's got ideas? Posted 18 years ago
I've been in the midst of a rather unpleasant slump as of late, and am in the market for some story ideas. Got some crazy-ass story concept that no one else'll touch? Lay it on me! My writing rules go as such: I will write about absolutely anything, as long as I can come up with a story angle for it. I love crazy, funky shit; really gets the creative juices flowing. And I also love doing requests; not only does it mean that that person entrusts me with their ideas, but, if I get it right, I'll get positive feedback from at least one satisfied customer. That's all I ask for. If anyone's curious about my (more-or-less) writing style, just check out my folder here:

Pardon My Slur, This Is My First Blog Posted 18 years ago
This is my first stab at a blog - not sure exactly how this whole business works, but I figure after enough beers it'll start to make sense. Read it and weep.
Anyway, I attended Morphicon this past weekend, my very first furry con, and man, I had a helluva good time. This was a pretty big deal for me, as I am one of the most bitter, antisocial, hermitic sumbitches out there and normally hiss at the very notion of spending time around others, let alone going to a social event BY MYSELF! (eventually the missus showed up, but for the first day-and-a-half, I was flying solo.)
Kicked things off on Friday by checking into my hotel room and immediately digging into the peppermint schnapps I'd brought along (I'm a big fan of self-medicating; alcohol is the lubricant that keeps...
