If I am going to worm myself more thoroughly into this community, it'd be a fine thing for me to get into the habit of chatting here even if just to vent. I've been (mostly) lurking for, oh, a year and a half now. My last attempt to break through as a, what's the word, producer was a year ago and sputtered to a halt after a few short but decent stories. I write a lot for my work, and so it can be hard to write for pleasure, but enough on that. I'm here, and I intend to keep myself to writing if just so I have some creative outlet. To that end, the first of those new stories (Let the Eater Beware) I'm uploading as soon as I finish this post to my gallery. It's a hair over 10,000 words, really long for me, but I didn't know what the protocol was for splitting stuff into multiple chapters so...
