The
cold was biting, but not harsh as a lone human made his way across
the tundra. Clad in black, he was a spec against the frost covered
plains as he trudged onwards. . The moon lit the ground ahead and
behind, yet the sky remained a shroud only lit by the pinholes formed
by the stars above. Theo sighed, not relishing the journey across
this godforsaken wasteland and cursing its necessity. All he had to
do was make it through the night and the small hamlet should be
waiting just after the sunri
