Battles can continue for what seems like an eternity. The physical and emotional toll of continued combat can tire out even the strongest of Valkyrie resolves.

In training Valkyries are taught to sleep with one eye open. But that's more easily taught then practiced especially when you reach a week of constant fighting.

Remember to give your units breaks. :P

Since the Valkyries are all female they do not pro-create like humans. Instead each generation are grown in large facilities. Their genes are slightly randomized, and a incubator grows them from embryo to adulthood in only a week. Then they are hatched and they begin their training period.

I had always tried to picture what the Valkyries government would look like. Would there be different tribes, would the be a sort of valkyre republic?
I even played with the idea of single male ruler with one giant harem...
In the end the one I could most see was a sort of Theology ruled by Priestess Queen, one who is born genetically superior to the standard Valkyre.

I wanted to show what that would look like. This is the design I came up with.

Spitters, one of the smallest small Devourers generally spit acid at their prey, which dissolves them externally. Then the Devourer will lap up the goo left over.

Not this Devourer, After observing his much larger siblings, this one tried a more direct approach...

Maybe his mind is larger than his stomach...


PS in very early stages of Terra, there was supposed to be a Hero unit, that I modeled, but never made it into the game. I guess now you see...
