The Waterpark


What a typical day, schools are off on holiday, children splashing around in the water, down at wild and wet waterpark, screaming with joy! I love seeing smiles of faces; I spoke quietly to myself as I entered the pool. I ran and did one big leap into the pool creating a splash like a bird grabbing its food from the ocean.

An hour later after queuing for slides and swimming in the rapid pools, I did a bit of thinking. My tummy felt empty, like it was ready for dinner however

`Beep, beep' my alarm echoed across my bedroom walls, waking me bright and early. I love the smell of the morning fresh air. I stretched my arms right to my finger tips as I climbed out of my lovely, warm, comfy bed.


I walked towards my brown, wooden wardrobes, swung open the doors and searched the rails looking for something to wear today. As I moved my hands along the rails, I began to feel more and more frustrated. Every pretty t-shirt, dress, top I owned was ripped

The sun was shinning high in the crystal blue sky. I knew today was going to be one of those glorious summer days. I sat down at my kitchen table and wrote a very long, tiring list of all the jobs I needed to do this weekend. However, unable to resist the beautiful sunshine, I decided to, instead, head to the town centre and shop. There is nothing better than to shop on a hot day, it makes the day so much more fun and enjoyable.

I screamed as I climbed off my chair, yet again to answer a phone call from the same person who has been ringing me all morning. I felt annoyed and frustrated, why do they keep ringing me? I don't even know them!


Sitting back on my armchair, I turned on some soft, calm, relaxing music. Hopefully this will calm me down. However, just as I was beginning to relax, the phone rang again.
