So, I when I was rather new on the Palpagos Islands, I was rather ecstatic when I had managed to capture a Nitewing (even if it was by sheer luck). However, I then managed to beat every other nearby Pal easily with it, leading to me thinking I was unbeatable with it…

That was until I met a certain nearby Alpha-Pal… to sum it up, my strong bird was quickly turned into a bulge traveling down the throat of the large Chillet with a loud swallow. Luckily, the large female Pal was too occupied to notice me sneaking away.

But don’t worry about Nitewing. I managed to catch the Chillet later when I had stronger Pals and she even willingly let him back out afterwards. I was relieved (and a bit surprised) when I saw that my precious Nitewing was completely unharmed despite being within the stomach of the weasel for quite a while.

However, since I added Chillet to my team, Nitewing behaves a little differently than before this encounter with her. It's almost as if he's suddenly shy, especially when his new teammate is around...

It’s finally done! I started this in like mid-February, right after I finished my Httyd series and thought I would need like two to three weeks for it… well, now it’s been two and a half months ^^;
There were simply too many things to draw that I had little or no experience with, which caused this massive delay. But as Chillet is just such a good pred in my eyes, I couldn't just give up on this artwork. And in the end, I am really happy with how it tunred out ^^
