I was thinking down lines of hypno vore for other reasons and then fapped to a bunch of lamia porn. This was the result.

Sadly, though I've tried, I can't actually find where the thumbnail image came from. Saucenao's got nothing, and I don't know a good site to upload to, nevermind that it's not my picture in the first place. Sorry to all those out there who enjoy "researching" my thumbnails, I don't know what to tell you about this one.

Upon closer inspection, yeah, it does have some of the hallmarks. Still fits the story pretty well though, and since precisely none of the jank is visible in a thumbnail-sized image (or even that obvious at full size tbh) I'm gonna keep it.
I'm curious though, how'd you spot that from just a thumbnail?

It has the generic AI shiny-ness to it, her left forearm is bent in the wrong direction in relation to her wrist and elbow, and there's sunlight on her right leg despite her dress blocking her right leg from the light source (presumably top-right judging by the light on her hair)

I'd say that's well-spotted, but aside from the light thing I think you're actually jumping at shadows. The full size image actually doesn't actually have the issues you described for the most part. It lacks the characteristic shininess, possibly because someone prompted the AI to have a slightly different, softer aesthetic, her arms are in slightly awkward but not physiologically improbable positions and the sunlight, while suspicious, is also relatively plausible. The lighting is definitely where things start to break down though, because as you noted the leg isn't 100% legit, (though the dress wouldn't block her leg completely, it just wouldn't leave the pattern that it does in shadow) and the shadow on her chest hits her collarbone like it's light instead of shadow.
The actual definitive jank I noticed is some of the background characters, the suspicious way the fingers are hiding behind the dress, and the way that on close inspection one of her hands only has three knuckles rather than four, as well as a couple other very small details. But none of that is actually visible in the thumbnail version, it's just too pixelated for those details to be visible.
