I've been in a disregard of life binge lately, but could never shake that issue with fatal casual vore where the entire world just breaks apart the moment you think about it for a few seconds.
So I'm trying my hand at doing just that, a world of rampant fatal vore that manages to make sense.
I want to explore it by following normal every day events, both perverted versions of real things and things that only these degenerate vore sluts would consider "normal" ;3
It can follow the same characters or completely different ones, so if you want to see how a particular thing goes down in this universe let me know!
Oh yeah and I don't have a good name for it. Whatever.

My way of doing it is to have preds be incredibly rare (50-100, the number always vague and from unreliable sources. Then some say 1000s but again, unreliable.)
And for reasons I won't type another paragraph for. Nobody, not governments or any regular person will interfere with any preds in any way.
That way vore is frequent and casual for the pred. Everyone may be freaking out but their acting blasè as if it's not happening 'because'.
It would fall apart if you look at it closely. So I keep certain things vague or purposely contradictory. (Again unreliable narrators, naive reporters/researchers)
All this for a comfy setting that I have never posted a single one of my stories online for.
I should get on that.

The way I'm doing it is extreme fertility for one, but the main tweak is that everyone undergoes a "decline" from pred to prey where they slowly become more and more subby until they're nothing but a quivering mess of endless lust begging to be churned. Most will die long before they get to that stage, however, as there's plenty of preds that will happily indulge a prey in need.
Where in the pred-prey scale one is born in varies greatly, but the slide towards prey is certain. Thus churning people is extremely normalized.
Emotionally is hardly a hit when people are gone because pretty much everyone has an intuitive idea of how much time everyone (including themselves) has left, and they plan their lives and relationships accordingly.

I'm sorry to post 2 comments on one story.
It's a great story.
But one thought an old Rp partner of mine had was making preds all incredibly fertile.
Their waste makes strangely good plant fertilizer, femcum is good for helping pregnancy. Cum is incredibly potent.
The two make twins/triplets or more far more likely. (Similar to how the condom greeter in your story fed her breasts with a dozen or so of her brothers)
Preds are rare. One in a million. (Less rare than the 50-100 I tend to do but still)
And their allowed to eat who they want provided they donate most of their waste.
(Create waste, make call, leave, poor minimum wage souls come by to collect. Profit)

I've been slowly writing my own "realistic" look at a world with vore. I made a crude population calculator to see how predation affects things. After boosting fertility to prevent extinction, I was surprised to see just how much the population pyramid shifted. With predation only by adults, the world becomes mostly children.
Since I want stories about adults, it mostly means that there is a surge in popularity of babysitters, daycare, and teachers as jobs.

omg I love this! casual vore is one of my to faves for sure! altho I usually just leave the explanation ambiguous, or otherwise something that's been normal forever so no one questions it lol
