Well, it's been a long time coming, but here it is! The sequel to my old Undertale fic, "Spider Buffet." For the past four years, I've struggled to write this story, promising to have it complete every Vore Day. Thankfully, that's a thing of the past! Here is the sequel, "Second Course!"
... or rather, part of it. See, while writing the original sequel, "Let Us Spin Our Love," I just kept adding more and more plot. Honestly more than the story rightly needed. It grew so bloated that I didn't know what to do, it became an unwieldly beast to handle, which added to the paralysis I felt while writing it. Matter of fact, I didn't even write a single word for "Let Us Spin Our Love" last year! Usually while stories sit in the backlog, I'll at least pepper in a few paragraphs now & again when inspiration strikes. Not so with "Let Us Spin Our Love."
So, I did the only rational thing and split them into two stories. "Second Course" was taken the first few scenes of "Let Us Spin Our Love" and condensed into a self-contained story. Sadly, it doesn't include any vore (ironic for Vore Day, I know), but as I've learned to take to heart lately, 'Perfection is the Enemy of Completion.' What's more, now that "Second Course" is out, there'll be more motivation to complete "Let Us Spin Our Love!" Got a commission or two to complete first, but it feels tremendously good to put my foot forward on this project at long last.
To those who've eagerly awaited the complete sequel, my sincerest apologies. I cannot begin to express my regret on how much I've stalled on this particular project. All I ask is a little more patience. "Let Us Spin Our Love" will come out, come hell or high water.

Vore or no vore, this was still adorable to read. I wouldn't even mind if this became an annual thing.

Well thank you. Hopefully the proper sequel will be complete before next Vore Day, but if I wrote a Muffet or spider gal/drider story for every 8/8, that wouldn’t be half-bad! Would certainly give better credence to my screen name haha!

Just saying, but there are plenty of spider characters to make content out of for years to come even after Muffet.
