No matter how acclimatized to your planet they may be, one must always be careful around aliens. You don't know much of anything about them, so assuming that they'll just be friendly is not the most recommended.

Another thing to consider is where you fall on the scale of edibility, particularly around someone who may not be interested in having witnesses.

One week in, and today is the aliens. Looks like things are finally looking up for her courtesy of a rather friendly AbiAlien, but before she leaves she may as well grab a meal to go.
