Concluding Voretober on a hopeful note, here's a tale of a dark artifact being found, and pragmatism being tossed aside in the name of mercy and justice... we hope.
This continues on from Day 30: Make-, but also Day 5: Exchange. (Did anyone recognize the name?)

A nice capstone to finish off the collection of stories. I do have a bit of a weak spot for object vore, particularly involving adventurers eating loot. Kind of funny to think she can just eat a blade of eternal suffering without so much as a hiccup.
If I had to nitpick something here, it would be the lack of names. Everybody besides Priscilla (and Sam) is referred to by some epithet, even if it was mostly justifiable due to the big party made up of new faces.

Hehe... well, this story is technically from the sphinx and Priscilla's perspective, and they didn't learn all of the relevant names. I figured it would be a sticking point, but maybe I'll show the other side to this... eventually.
It'll have to wait, though. I need to recover from 31 days straight of writing.
