When a Black Swallower tells you she's so hungry she could eat a horse... You better believe it's *NOT* a metaphor.

The Chiasmodon Niger, also known as the Black Swallower, is a species of deep sea fish endemic to the Atlantic Ocean. It gets its vernacular name from the fact that its feeding habits involve swallowing prey several times its own size.

And I am truly, genuinely surprised that, despite that, there's barely any vore art out there involving said species. It's not non-existent, mind you, it's just that, as far as I know, I can count the amount of Black Swallower OCs with the fingers of one hand, including this one. And whether anthro or not, vore art involving them remains scarce.

Which is why I'm hoping to change that... Y'see, a couple weeks ago, I was boucing ideas with  kasdal about a potential shark pred OC. It's something I've been considering for a long time, and seeing Kasdal's art of Huttser's OC Sirene really put me in the mood for a shark OC again.

So I told him about it, and as the conversation went on, I considered making that OC a shark/Black Swallower hybrid. A big lady. Then, Kasdal pointed out that it would probably make that potential OC too similar to what I already have, which is a good point. So I decided to ditch the whole "hybrid" thing, and focus on a pure Black Swallower OC instead.

Because Black Swallowers are small fish, y'know ? Barely a foot in length, less than that, even. So, while Jack is by all means a giant, this one would be quite the opposite : a shortstack pred, who can nonetheless swallow preys way larger than she is.
