Holly slowly opened her eyes, stirred back into consciousness by the January sun. The memory of the night before remained as only a loud and messy blur of funneling pizza, alcohol, and lord knows what else down her gullet -- yet a good night's sleep had left her feeling right as rain. She sat up from where she had lay on the couch...

...only for her head to meet the ceiling with a resounding thump.

Shaken fully awake by the knock to her noggin, Holly realized that the living room had seemed to... shrink considerably, her hips now covering the entire couch from arm to arm. As Ginger sat up from her own catnap, her legs swept across the full length of the room, knocking aside party trash and bumping against furniture. This year was already off to a bizarre beginning, waking up to find themselves in a dollhouse...

But... buildings don't just suddenly shrink. And not only their home, but their clothes as well had undergone the same change; what remained untorn of their pajamas was straining to hold in their modesty. No, it wasn't that the house had gotten smaller, but rather--

"That's a new one..."

Processing a feast like last night's typically resulted in gains of a more horizontal persuasion. This time, however, the pair of predators had found themselves shooting upwards, not outwards. Their proportions had remained largely intact, but such had they grown in sheer size that standing up was now a foolhardy endeavor -- unless they wanted a repeat of Holly's rendezvous with the ceiling.

Certainly an interesting way to ring in the new year for sure. But being eleven feet tall wasn't exactly in agreement with an ordinary lifestyle. Hopefully, as with any old post-glutting gains, this extra weight would eventually burn off, and the two could go back to business as usual. In the meanti-

...Or so they had thought.

In reality it was quite the opposite -- this unexpected growth spurt had left their stomachs larger and emptier than ever. To the peckish pair, suddenly everything around them seemed so irresistibly appetizing... A hearty breakfast was well overdue at this point, and all around lay so many tantalizing treats, just begging to let them sate their growing hunger. Ginger, a mischievous smile spreading across her face, met Holly's cautious gaze. A single look confirmed both girls' minds were set on the exact same question. If their last large meal had given them this kind of upward mobility, surely it would happen again. And if so...

How much further could this go?


The table was now set for the grandest of feasts, one far beyond the wildest dreams of either of its two esteemed guests. From here the feast would only continue... in fact, it had to.
