Pac-Man was originally called Puck-Man!
You’d think it was because he looks like a hockey puck, but it actually comes from the Japanese phrase “paku-paku”, which means to flap one’s mouth open and closed. They changed it because they thought that Puck-Man would be too easy to vandalize. Ya know, people could just scratch off the “P” and turn it into an “F” or whatever…

Anyways, I wanted to start this year off with some ghost bustin’ goodness!
I am notoriously bad at bullet hell games but I still gave Awaria a “shot” because I absolutely love vanripper’s artstyle!
And ya know what? I actually beat the game.
