A little practice sketch of Océane that I ended up making a bit more detailed than I initially planned :B First time I actually get to show the fact that she has a row of smaller teeth between her big chompers, which is an actual feature of the real-life fish species she's based on.

I gotta say, I'm really satisfied about how reliably cute I now manage to make her look. Her general features are still the same, but she definitely looks a lot better now than she did in her earlier pics, and much closer to how I initially imagined her when I first came up with the character. I really should try making a colored piece eventually; I've already decided what her color palette should be, I just have yet to actually include it in a pic.

As for what she's saying... Well, a literal translation would be "so, how's it bubbling ?" and, while it's not quite something you'd hear everyday, it can still be used as a casual, laid back way of asking "what's up ?"
