The Story:
RETURN TO THE RESORT!
There are new arrivals to our little resort, marsupial monsters and cold blooded killers alike. The Australian summer beats down on all alike as many of the beasties amble their way towards the coast in a disorderly kind of migration. However they're not just aiming towards the coast in any direction, it's down south-east, towards a kind of haven of sorts.
Paradoxically it is the monsters that are being hunted by humans that necessitates the desire for this kind of beastly community. The EvergreenCorps claims that it is a necessary culling that takes place during the summer, however it has been noted that the swineherds that ravage the wastes are hardly targeted by kill-teams or the hunter squadrons. To the contrary, high value species that sell quite well on the international markets are the most commonly hunted regardless of if they're peaceful or not. Not that the EvergreenCorps feels it necessary to explain its actions you should be grateful they've deemed you worthwhile even addressing.

This is THE RESORT. Don't go too far outside the fences as the giant boars are opportunistic. Stay for a spell, unless you're human, then stay forever. Don't mess with the Thylacines, they run the place! They may look like aloof little snacks but you may find yourself consigned to a terrible fate if you mess with them too much.

A) Diprotodon
10ft / 304cm
A bumbling idiot would be an understatement, this giant wombat complains a lot about the heat due to her usual alpine environment and seems to be more taken up by the complaining than she is watching where she's going. Several monsters have been battered and bruised due to this beast of a marsupial knocking them over with her ass or even sitting on them, the unlucky ones don't seem to reappear when she gets up. Though she claims she's vegetarian!

B) Quinkana
7'6ft / 228.6cm
Nearly the smallest, but easily the most sadistic and dangerous of our highlighted monsters here.
Historically, the Quinkana was a terrestrial crocodile that chased down it's prey. Whether or not it also tortured, sexually assaulted and then swallowed its prey whole is up for dispute among paleontologists.
Built with a massive reserve of stamina, an unstable and cruel disposition, we're not sure this beast is entirely natural. His nearest relatives, the croc-men do not allow him within their villages and from the outset it may be clear why as while the croc-men wear rudimentary leather and furs, the Quinkana opts to be entirely naked. An eye witness report states they once saw him corral an injured man into the sand dunes just so he could watch the man tire himself out to the point of collapse. The eye witness did not want to elaborate on the following actions that culminated in the man being completely devoured.

C) Riversleigh
8ft / 243cm
This is a human! Or so she says, laughable I know! She insists she is a sergeant for the security forces of the EvergreenCorps but we all know they don't allow mutants in Security, let alone outside of experimentation pens. We almost named her "Jenna Syde" for how often she bitterly says that name in tearful rants at the bar. She's a new arrival at the Resort and is quite timid, maybe she just needs a shoulder to cry on, gods know all of ours have become tired!
There is some weight to her statements, as platypus generally don't have another torso complete with arms but we've all seen weirder stuff on this cursed continent besides, it's too much fun to bully her.

D) Liasis
6'7ft / 200cm
If you're smaller than her then good luck! But that isn't much the case when she's compared to the other monsters knocking about. Finding herself frequently at the butt end of the jokes from other monsters, Liasis is eager to prove that snakes aren't made for "slurping down like noodles". Don't be there when she decides you're the example she wants to make!
And DEFINITELY do not tell her that snakes can't be bikers.
