Drew's womb was made by Annaro and being as she's not human, she wasn't exactly able to make it to fit his perfect specifications.

As a result, when Drew is ovulating, he goes into a sort of heat. Hyper sensitive and barely able to think, he often finds Annaro and clings to her, unable to do anything else.

Annaro for her part, generally seems to take these moments seriously, focusing on Drew's needs and care over her traditional cruel tendencies.

Because of his position, he rarely if ever sees her face during these moments, and Annaro seems to go out of her way to ensure that. Drew wonders what her expression would be if he could see her...
