Given your previous comment that she was the one who initiated the flirting, I imagine the record is based on how long it took to seduce a man into coming over. Her extra fat will make it easier to seduce people, so she is expecting to break that record in the next few days, which isn't much longer than the one day he lasted.
This was made a while ago but there was a longer version that showed her flirting with him at the start. Then the rest of it being him rationalizing to himself why he shouldn't be so defensive- with things happening in the background that showed how wrong he was.
All of that leading to her flirting with him again as he came home, and him throwing away his survival instinct with his new sense of invincibility. It's why he's so goofy and socially inept in that first page ;P
