SO- Ages ago I used to talk about how I thought it was interesting that I couldn't find anyone who was doing any longer narrative comics in vore. I talked a bit about how I just wanted to see what that would look like.
Well I'm doing it...
I'm the WORST artist for the job. I overthink things, I spend too long trying to get things right, and I constantly change my mind on things. My writing style is basically "The characters need to know what's happening but not the audience" - it will probably be a mess, but I'm still excited to try.
I've been building up to this for almost 2 years now (that's the overthinking right there), and at this point I think I can make something half decent... Or hopefully interesting enough that someone with their shit together can give it a shot
I say this with a grand total of one complete page out of 63 for the first chapter, and about 14 half finished pages- I say this with a habit of committing myself to things that aren't financially sustainable, and while a large chunk of a chapter is supported by commission I might actually be an idiot in making that chapter 3... - I say this basically PURELY out of hopes and dreams, but FUCK IT
The only thing I ask is that you keep an open mind whenever I am ready to share it. It's made to be a longer narrative, and not a vore comic followed by 200 identical sequels. I have an ending in mind, and several narrative beats I know I'm going to get to along the way. It's an adult story, with themes of sexuality, identity, choice, connection, and power... Set in a world with a natural imbalance of power, where women have an innate ability to eat people. A bi-product of magic, long ago.
BUT- also patience... Like anything that I make, I want to make it right <3
EDIT: And to clarify - The comic above is unrelated to the larger one I'm working on xd

Take ur time m8 63 pages is not nothing thats ALLOT.
And with art your way better then me its why i dont do art as i cant draw pple other then in stick figures XD.
Just remember to take a small brake so now and then so you do become depressed.
Do some nice things in those brakes like fishing or gaming or whatever you like the most kay?:)

Oh I should clarify, this is not the start of Chapter 1, nor would this be what it looks like- Since I'm doing at least the first few chapters in color

I didn't want people to write it off as me 'selling' them something because that's not why I'm doing this... If I didn't need money to live I wouldn't have a patreon, it's a necessary evil for me

I can guarantee you, Unless your comic is like some other comics made here before that out of 30 pages 4 or 5 have direct vore on them people would gradly pay some minor ammount to first support and second to have access to the comic beforehand

Like I said - it's a story built around vore. They aren't separate factors, if there's 25 pages of 'non vore' it's in support of vore.
Likewise not every vore scene is going to feel like a vore scene, some of it blends into the narrative, and vice versa some of the 'non vore scenes' are predominantly built around the same feelings and appeal as vore - characters looking at a character who's gained weight, realizing what's happened when they and X other character went off on their own together - this is a non-vore scene that's primary appeal is vore... there's a blend of themes like any other story
There's a scene pretty early on that illustrates this point... A scene that's primary focus is the characters and not sexually coded, and this is despite showcasing vore in a rather brutal way - On the flipside the last 23 pages are all pretty explicitly vore, and sexually coded, and that's also not on accident... That's also not unimportant to the story
There might be in the future almost entire chapters of just sexually coded vore, there might be entire chapters that are pushing the story towards those moments. I don't believe in separating them, in fact I think that's one of the main reasons that 'sexual scenes' in traditional media falls so flat... the story stops completely
That's what I meant when I said it's not going to be a 'vore comic and 200 identical sequels', because that's what you get if you try and build a story that doesn't earn its moments.... Every major element of the story has it's roots in that same appeal, even if on the surface it might not feel like that. That's what I wanted to see, I've seen it done before just not in comic form

Oh yeah i'm aware of that dwa. I was more refering to a kind of comics that sometimes gets out of here that are like 20 pages of characters talking to each-other and for some reason doing lore dumps of how that world works before a 2 page very short vore sequence happens towards the very end.
On my previous message i was saying like, you will probably be very successful with receiving support for your comic as long as it is not like the way i explained.
But from the way you described that, the comic actually sounds very good! Sorry if i came off the wrong way

The thing is she can eat women, yet women are a lot harder to eat... And she's never been eaten before, or targeted, so it must be a natural fact of life.
There's a little bit of a sexual dimorphism in the world building in a lot of my work that kinda flips sexism on it's head... While most characters aren't overtly sexist towards men, there's still a few common beliefs that characters tend to form with sexist undertones. Just don't get caught doing it in public
It's not really the 'point', so much as the biproduct of the kinds of kinks im building around, which are the 'point'... but it's still fun to think about ;3

Dude your doing the lords work, I wish I could draw like that, because then I wouldn't have any problems finding vore that I like. So keep it up. Maybe make the Background a bit brighter.

After about 100~ hours of work it definitely doesn't hit for me... but I can tell when it works, and why it works -
I lead others to a treasure I can never hold
Yeah, more contrast between the characters and the background probably wouldn't have hurt, although there's a couple parts that they're supposed to blend in.. and a darker background fit better with the mood I wanted

There's only 1 more page to this one, and it's just a little bonus weight gain page. The longer story I was talking about is it's own thing -although it is intended to be the same setting as this, and several of my other works-

Oh and After looking at it again just now, I love how the form of the guy just becomes softness of the belly and then the sequence of her belly shrinking and the breasts growing, always get jealous of the eaten person when I see vore like this
