Once upon a time, there was a cult. And this cult wasn't particularly competent mind you, probably because of the fact they're now losing their minds over this Necronomicon-ish book on summoning all things Hell. Immediately they made plans for "diplomatically" gaining favor with the powers behind Hell by opening a portal and intimidating them with their numbers (surely a successful plan).

Unfortunately for them, after finishing the last preparations for the summoning circle, they realized something: the instructions on summoning a *portal* are on the next page. Summoning a demon instead wasn't necessarily their definition of success, and summoning *this* demon would be their final failure.

heyoo!!! after technically over a year in the making, i miraculously gained a huge flood of motivation to essentially redo this whole sequence featuring Xein's Dismay! i fuckin' *adore* her, and hope yall will too after this whole sequence pans out!

ill post the next part tomorrow, spreading these out day by day considering i went pretty damn ambitious lmao
