Vomi was a dedicated scientist to the Red Ribbon Army and was fascinated with what animals could do if tested upon,just like how Dr. Gero made the perfect Androids.

On such an occasion, Vomi had stumbled upon a unique species of Slug that had a blue and red look to its body and was quite fascinated with what it could do.
