Oof. Sounds like the mother was expecting to not have to digest the girl. She underestimated her daughter's laziness.

She really was. She had nothing against Sofie, but if she went back on her word it would be poor parenting. So she took the more reasonable route and digested the girl into inexistence.

She should of suggested things for the kid to do, make her work her but off for as long as it takes to run out of stamina,

Maybe! I will leave what can happen there up to your imagination because for me at least this is where the story ends. (While I do intend to use Alex and Sofie in another scene, it is in another continuity, so to say)
