That poem suggests she will try to eat whoever she helped eventually. The mention of bodies vanishing and him bearing the weight of choices makes it pretty clear she eats people in return for helping someone.

An excellent piece from the disposal to the twist and ultimate fate of Renji, very good. Excellent artwork from 5idestep as well, attractive and conveys the described scenes well, even if they did take some liberty with coloration. Kitsunes, in all their beautifully mischievous and fluffy glory are always welcome and I hope to see more. Also will this be an ongoing partnership for some of Snakethroat's works, or a rare\one off kind of thing?
