Accepting Fate
-Somewhere in the Guardhouse…
A nightmare…everything about this place…the monsters…the situation…it was all a massive nightmare for Rebecca Chambers.
Having found herself at this Guardhouse after escaping a horde of zombified dogs and just narrowly avoiding the bites of actual Zombies, now the Medic of S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team found herself all alone in an empty room, cut dry of any ammo whatsoever as her empty Samurai Edge laid on the ground with no bullets left in the chamber. The latter was lucky she had only encountered Zombies in this place…for much deadlier abominations awaited further within.
Though that was not on Rebecca's mind as the latter was sat on the floor, holding her legs with her hands as she sobbed into her knees, the nightmarish aura of this place far too much for her even despite her previous events with a certain convict she bumped into within a train.
“I-I can't…I-I thought…I thought I would be ready…but…t-this place…i-it’s too much…,” Rebecca muttered to herself, voice filled with fear.
She had no idea where everyone was…having only bumped into two members of her own group before, Rebecca hadn't found anyone else ever since coming here. Richard…Forest…Kenneth…all the Medic could do was pray that those three were in a much better condition than she was.
Lifting her head up, Rebecca sniffled as she looked around the room she took refuge in and let out a small sigh, her body shaking a little as she somehow tried to regain herself, “C-Calm…down…I-I have…t-to calm…down…”
Though as much as she tried to do so…it just didn't work whatsoever as all Rebecca could think of…were those monstrous creatures from before. Those bright green reptiles that stood on their back legs…a giant frog that nearly swallowed her whole…or that…that…humanoid creature with a massive claw-like appendage.
Just how many more monstrous beings were there…?
The thought left a deep mark on Rebecca’s mind as a horrible realization came within her thoughts, W-What if…the others encountered things like that…? W-Would they…even survive?
Such a thought made Rebecca’s eyes go wide with horror as the potential realization had dawned on her entirely.
What if she was the only surviving member left…?
Life seemed to nearly fade in Rebecca's eyes as she thought of that, the small fire that still lay dormant within had started to extinguish itself…the potential situation of her being the only surviving member left…it broke her mind and soul.
“W-What…do I do then? I-If I'm…the only one left…what am I even fighting for…?” Rebecca asked herself, tone slowly shifting to a lost kind.
If she had people to fight for, Rebecca wouldn't be giving up here and now…but…her team…they were the people Rebecca would fight for every single day when they went out on a mission. If they were potentially dead…leaving her alone in this nightmare…there wasn't even a point in continuing on.
She was alone…
It was at this point that Rebecca had wished she saved a bullet now…she could've ended it all now for herself…but she didn't… Though, it wouldn't be long for something to grant the girl her wish as heavy dragging caught the Medic's attention as she looked around.
What…is that…? Rebecca thought to herself in slight wonder, though she honestly didn't care at this point what it was.
Eventually, the thing revealed itself as eventually coming out from a hole in the roof…was a snake. A very large and massive snake which looked to be akin to that of an Anaconda, though it was much bigger than your average snake which probably had to do with the Virus that amplified itself.
Upon seeing the large snake making itself known, Rebecca felt her heart beating fast in fear as her instincts told her to run…but instead…she stayed where she did, realizing that…maybe fate had been listening and gave the latter exactly what she had wished for.
And in all honesty…the Medic didn't want to meet her end by becoming a zombie…so this was perhaps the next best thing.
Sighing as she watched the Snake slither over, basically inches from her, Rebecca watched it with an almost lost expression as she awaited what was to come, “Just be quick about it…I want this nightmare to end…”
Of course, the snake couldn't understand her language, but it did sense how defeated its prey was which indicated it would be an easy task to claim her. Though instincts be instincts and it needed to make sure they were satisfied even in the presence of such easy prey.
Opening its jaw wide, the Anaconda let out a hiss, before lunging at Rebecca's shoulder, a pained gasp escaping her as she felt herself spun around and felt large bands of muscles wrapping around her body entirely. Eventually coming to a halt, the snake let go as the Medic was able to see what had happened and now found herself within at least three massive coils that held her within a scaly cocoon.
Rebecca let out a small groan, feeling the Anaconda's coils squeezing a bit as said snake brought its head before her as it watched her face with a stern and deadly look. The latter closed her eyes as the sounds of scales creaking slightly echoed in the room they were in, finding breathing slowly getting harder as time passed on.
Though even now, Rebecca didn't worry about her situation as she opened her eyes and that lost expression could be seen again as she stared at the Anaconda's face, “P-Please…nngh…j-just…end it…”
Yet again, the Anaconda didn't understand her words, but…it could feel her emotions as her scent gave off the expression that the latter had given up, practically begging for the end to come. It only added to the fact that Rebecca didn't even try struggling whatsoever…though it also helped that the scaly giant had been searching for a meal that wasn't those disgusting undead creatures.
Maybe it wouldn't hurt to just get on to the best part.
Letting out a small hiss at Rebecca, the Anaconda had decided to move on to the main reason for why it was here as the Medic watched its head behind her head and out of view…before feeling something wet plant itself onto the top of her own head.
Immediately, Rebecca realized what was happening as her eyes looked up and thanks to the light highlighting its shadow, she could see it had started to swallow her whole.
“Finally…,” Rebecca muttered, a smile almost showing itself, but she closed her eyes and let out a content sigh as she accepted her fate, “Thank you…”
Letting herself succumb to this moment, Rebecca was incredibly calm as she felt the Anaconda swallow her whole, trailing its jaws over her eyes and continuing further down as her vision was engulfed by its fleshy insides. Though even now, the Medic's instincts were just begging her to fight back and struggle out…but…there was no reason for her to fight back anymore.
This was a nightmare she wanted to end…and this snake was her way out of this that didn't involve becoming a zombie.
Don't worry, everyone…I'll be with you guys soon…, Rebecca thought to herself, relaxing her body the best she could to give the snake an easy time of swallowing her whole.
While the snake couldn't exactly show it, it did appreciate that its prey seemed to be genuinely trying to make things easier for it as it trailed past her head entirely and quickly reached to her shoulders as it slowly undid its coil wrapped around her chest. Shifting its head a bit from left to right, the Anaconda would eventually conquer her shoulders and started to reach Rebecca's chest which, luckily for itself, wasn't as developed compared to a certain brunette on Alpha team.
Either way, it was a simple enough task to conquer as it gently bit down onto Rebecca’s chest which did elicit a small moan from the Medic. Though it was only for a moment as the snake trailed past with a small gulp and was now halfway done with swallowing Rebecca whole.
With the latter half-way within its gullet, the Anaconda no longer felt a need to use its coils anymore as it undid them entirely and now Rebecca's legs simply laid on the wooden floor as it continued further down, eventually reaching to where the latter was mostly packing which was her rear.
All the while as this all happened, Rebecca let out a small, but content sigh as she opened her eyes to look around her surroundings which…wasn't exactly much as all she could see was pink, fleshy walls that pressed and massaged into her body which she couldn't deny did feel quite nice.
“G-Guess I should be thankful at least it's somewhat comf- A-Aaaah~!’
Rebecca was cut short of her words as she felt the Anaconda's lips bite down onto her rear and let out an audible moan due to it being much more sensitive compared to her chest. It didn't help the fact that the Anaconda seemed to take its time with biting into her rear which in most situations would've caused the latter to be incredibly embarrassed and lose some semblance of her dignity, but here…dignity didn't really matter anymore.
“N-Nngh…p-please…just end it already…,” Rebecca quietly begged, blushing a bit as she felt her rear being fondled by the Anaconda's jaws.
Thankfully, her quiet plea was answered as with a much more audible gulp, the Medic felt her rear engulfed entirely and there were no more roadblocks awaiting it as the Anaconda was just about done as it trailed down to her thighs. Sighing again, Rebecca felt relieved that her time was almost over and started to shift herself to get as comfortable as possible upon feeling the snake's jaws reaching her knees.
From the outside, all that was left was Rebecca’s feet which was an incredibly easy task to conquer as the Anaconda simply lifted its head up and letting gravity do its job, let them slide down into its gullet and with one last gulp as the tip of her feet disappeared within had Rebecca been swallowed whole entirely. Hissing with delight as the Anaconda finally had a good meal in quite a long time, it turned its head to watch on as the large bulge containing Rebecca slowly trailed down towards its stomach, faint movements being noticeable as the latter got herself comfortable as she fully accepted this outcome that had befallen her.
With its task done and a full belly, it was time for the Anaconda to return to its resting place within the Guardhouse which was completely out of view and was out of reach of anyone as it slithered up the wall and back through the hole in the roof in order to digest its prey in peace. The last thing you could make out of Rebecca besides the bulge containing her as it disappeared into the hole up above was her empty Samurai Edge handgun as it now laid on the ground utterly alone with no trace left of the now former Medic of S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team.

-With Rebecca (Inside the Anaconda's stomach)
Coming to a halt within its stomach, Rebecca finally took the time to think about her situation as she rested within her new home that would also become her grave as well.
The first thing that came to mind was Rebecca being incredibly grateful that the Anaconda didn't crush her within its coils. She had read in books that the scaly giant could crush human bones with ease and not to mention that a certain movie she had watched before with her former friends…might have also helped in that factor as well.
So the Medic could count herself lucky that the snake was merciful enough to not crush her to bits, perhaps believing that it sensed her emotions and decided to skip the squeezing part. Who knows what was going through its mind.
Either way, Rebecca was grateful for it and now, she could rest within her new home as the faint sounds of gurgling could be heard as it seemed to adjust and prepare her for digestion. At first she was worried that when it happened, Rebecca would be awake for it, but upon realizing there wasn't much air to depend on, perhaps she would be rendered unconscious soon because of it.
Though the most important thing that Rebecca had thought of was…well…was this the right decision? It was very small, but…the former Medic wondered…what if she was wrong about the others being dead? Maybe in reality they were perhaps still alive somehow and…the choice she made was the wrong kind…
Though at this point, it didn't really matter anymore as even if she believed that thought…Rebecca had no chance of escaping now as she rested within the Anaconda’s stomach.
If they're alive or not…I've already accepted my fate…there's no turning back, Rebecca thought to herself as she let out one last sigh, If they are…I can only pray you guys make it out…if not…then I'll see you on the other side.
Closing her eyes, Rebecca let her mind and body relax as the fleshy walls of the Anaconda's stomach pressed and massaged her body to help her relax. And eventually, the former Medic had fallen unconscious due to the lack of air as her fate of becoming snake food was set in stone.
For however long it took, what mattered most was that Rebecca Chambers, former member of S.T.A.R.S Bravo Team and potentially the last surviving member…had been claimed by an Anaconda as its meal and would eventually be no longer of this world…freed of her nightmare once and for all.
