That gradual zoom-in to reveal a very pregnant Sachiko and her little accomplice huddled together as we stare down Kame's gaping, greedy gullet is seriously SO well-executed, and I love how proud of himself he looks right here! And why shouldn't he be proud? His belly is even bigger than Mama's, after all! What an absolutely gorgeous comic all around— incredible artwork that perfectly suits the phenomenal premise and immaculately crafted narrative! A phenomenal commission.
