It was a college trip to a jungle and Catherine was not very excited for such an occasion considering that, much like Solène, she had come today wearing one of her fancier outfits, which wouldn't take kindly to the humidity that awaited them in this environment. What didn't help was the fact that this was a trip they had to take lest they would end up suffering some major consequences, so Catherine had no choice but to come along this trip. Though like her friend...she was in for a far worse situation.

After walking for a bit with the group, Catherine had noticed that Solene had gone missing as she looked back to ask how her friend was doing, only to get extremely worried when she was gone without a trace left behind. Immediately, she went looking for Solene, but doing so, she took a misstep and fell down a small hill into a muddy pit below. What made this all the worse was the fact she stumbled into a pit that was home to a large carnivorous worm known as a Carnictis. Before the young woman could react, the ravenous creature immediately got a hold of Catherine's legs as she happened to have fallen right on top of it.

Now already waist deep, Catherine could only scream in terror as she called for any kind of help or for someone to save her, but her cries fell on deaf ears as she was forced to watch the worm slowly engulf her midriif and started reaching just underneath her breasts.
