Haru looked back at the mirror behind her, unable to keep the smirk from her fat face as she thought back to the impossible events that led her to her current situation.

After airing that massive belch, Haru immediately threw her hands up, admitting that she had eaten their leader and that she would only let him go if she, Legoshi and his panda friend could go free, unharmed.

How they reacted however, shocked all three of them.

They all admitted that the leader that was currently stewing away in Haru's gut was actually quite the... weirdo. They just wanted to eat and survive like anyone else would, while the chief lion had what one would call a 'rich cunt's palette', which is why they had kidnapped Haru in the first place. She was a pure white dwarf rabbit, an exceedingly rare find in the world, which meant the boss wanted it. They didn't much care that he was destined to be rabbit fat, much to the dismay of the still struggling chief.

That admittance would end up being the lesser of the two however, as the second in charge then stepped up and asked Haru to become the new leader of the Shishigumi herself.

If the three's reactions had them shocked before, his request had their jaws hit the floor, including the jaws of his fellow lions!

The lion who offered was named Ibuki, and was generally seen as the second in command among the Shishigumi, and explained that Haru would make for the perfect leader for them.

The world as a whole have begun to advocate for herbivores much more than before, with one of the most prominent candidates for the title of Beastar being a certain deer. Unfortunately however, the former leader cared much more about how he could top his previous lavish meals with rarer and rarer animals, leading to a marked decrease in the Shishigumi's "PR" within the black market. It may be a place where meat is illegally traded and sold, but the reason why it hasn't been wiped from existence is because of the unavoidable need for meat for carnivores to live normal lives. And if the Shishigumi lose too much rep, then they could say goodbye to their status as one of the major gangs within the black market that offers protection and business.

As such, getting rid of the former, distasteful leader, and installing a legitimately powerful herbivore? It would solve the Shishigumi's issues instantly. They would be fools to not make such an offer.

Cut back to the present, and Haru couldn't help but chuckle at how things turned out. Looking at how much more voluptuous that creep of a lion made her filled her with so much satisfaction that she was already eagerly waiting for the next eager idiot to find herself struggling down her gullet.

Her duties to the Shishigumi would apparently include being the face of the gang, helping to bridge the gap between their carnivorous members and the numbers of herbivores that exist in the black market. Frankly, she didn't know all too much about how she would do that, but deep down, she had a feeling. After learning about the intricacies of the market from Ibuki and that panda friend of Legoshi's (Gouhin was his name, if she remembered right), she had figured that for the most part, the herbivores in the black market are there of their own accord... or weren't in a position to refuse, whether it be because they were deceased, or heavily in debt. If she played her cards right, she could even change things to serve her and her new group to do right by the underground community.

They weren't exactly on the brighter side of the law, but she was already a criminal the moment she began eating other students. She was never meant to lead a normal life after that, and continuing as usual probably would have ended with her getting found out, arrested, and who knows what else. As the new mistress of the Shishigumi, she could make a real difference. She could put a stop to kidnappings, give proper autonomy to both herbivores and carnivores over their biological supplies and demands, and help those who fall by the wayside, especially since she was already planning a partnership with Gouhin's clinic.

And all this because some random thief pushed a bit too hard while trying to steal some flowers one day.
