Similar to getting a new pair of running shoes, whenever Patty gets a new pair of jean shorts she has to break them in. This means Patty spending the next couple days wearing the same pair of jean shorts and enthusiastically farting in them to get the pair smelling less store fresh and more like her. Patty has to be careful though as one more then one occasion she has gotten carried away and accidentally burned a hole through the backside, forcing her go out and buy a new pair to start the process all over again.

When SwampyArt was still drawing they made a request asking if anyone wanted to commission them with a character that wore jeans so they could practice drawing jeans. 60% of Patty’s closest is black t-shirts and jean shorts so I thought she would be perfect practice for Swampy and Swampy thought so too.
