It's finally time! I have a lot of really fun stuff planned for this month and who better to start it off with than my mermaid OC herself!

Iona is a Ceasg, a kind of Celtic mermaid with salmon features and various magical powers. Mermaids in Celtic folklore are actually known to swallow people whole, and Iona was inspired by one such story recorded by J. F. Campbell.

The extent to which the bulge is hidden, despite being plainly visible when you know where to look is actually kind of haunting.

Also, I like the subtly piscine features on her face, between the needly teeth and wide eyes.

Thanks. The eyes were kind of an accident, I mainly based her face on an actress, but I do like the effect that it ended up giving her.
