A Dangerous Disguise

  We flew off towards Kyogre, and I noticed something very wrong. Besides being a legend who was supposed to sleep for longer than this, when he raised his neck, he had a slash across his neck. Suddenly, I erupted. I started to glow a develish red, and charged up a Hyper Beam that would make a rainbow look like a crayon box. When I fired, the multi-color Hyper Beam struck with rattling impact, and "Kyogre" drifted back under the water. Suddenly, I realized I was going paranoid, for I noticed something that immediately put me back to normal. Upon closer inspection, there were several cuts in his tail fins, signs of age. However, Kyogre was now defending itself, and shot water at us as fast as it could. Jake's dad, not wanting to push the legendary any farther, said to ignore him, and dodge the water. Although it was easier said than done, We dodged and weaved through the rapid Water Spouts. Then, I noticed something that made me shiver. Rain clouds could be seen nearby, and if it rained, my tailfire had the
possibility of being extinguished. Then, I turned to notice Jake. He was standing in a shallow area near shore, glowing a bright, mystic yellow. I knew what he was planning, but I couldn't tell if I would live through this or not. Silently, I said, "Isn't there anyone who can stop the rain?" Just then, Groudon appeared on a massive piece of land. I was delighted to see the clouds disperse, but less excited about the fact that Groudon and Kyogre were now locked in inseperable combat. I knew that there was no chance of doing anything when those two fought, as only Rayquaza could becalm them. I flew over to the bank where Jake had rested before, panting and heaving fire while trying to catch my breathe. Jake's dad landed next to me, and congradulated me, saying he hadn't seen skills that good since he fought with my parents. Just then, Jake landed and then stated the obvious. "We need to retreat. There's nothing we can do. Dad, where's Rayquaza?" Just then, I got a psychic vision of Eric. He was chained to the cave wall, along with Kyorui, Falco, Frank, Guy, and the Female Charizard, who introduced herself, oddly enough, as Ciara. Memories of my previous master flooded to me, and I wondered if this Charizard was really my former master, with a new body granted to her. Just then, my beautiful sword was thrust in the wall next to Eric's head. Then, a voice permiated my thoughts. (Nate, please get back here and help us. We don't know what's going on, but Darkrai is back! He stormed in and used Dark Void on all of us. When we awoke, we were chained up, and he had somehow found your sword!) I looked toward the legendaries as they started to fight, Kyogre with Hydro Pump and Groudon with Fire Blast and Solarbeam. Jake yelled to us, "We need to go, now!"
  I didn't argue, and we flew off toward the north. The first town we saw was Mauville City, and I noticed that there was a Treecko there, who followed us as soon as he spotted us. We got closer to the desert, and the little pokemon just seemed to hang back. Just then, I knew. I called to Jake and his dad. "I'm gonna take off. something came up with Eric. See you in a few hours, Jake. I'll come here ASAP." I started off towards the left to give them a show, and then landed near the Treecko. Suddenly, I couldn't move my body, and as I looked at the Treecko, it transformed before my eyes. "Your friend was so easy to trick. He didn't even notice the scar I had at my throat." He lifted his head to show me. "Now, how should I pay you back for that ever so unpleasant wound you inflicted upon me. Oh I know! How about..." At this point, the Treecko was now his true self, and it was someone I hoped I would never had to see again. Standing in front of me was Giratina, and still I couldn't move. "I could eat you, like
you did your master. Now, hold still..." He laughed, for he was still holding me in place," and be a good little snack." Just before the world went dark, I saw Jake start flying overhead, glowing with a dark aura. With the last of my willpower, I called to him. (Jake...look down...it's Giratina...help me...) With my vision swimming and my head and neck covered in saliva, I blacked out.
