This picture depicts Marsha, my giant Felaryan slug-girl. She is using one of her tricks of the trade by wallowing deep in the murky water, setting a thick carpet of slime under the surface. She will then backtrack along her trail, leaving behind a nasty trap that remains for days. Her slime is unusually thick and heavy, thus it soon sinks to the bottom, spreading out to create a dangerous quagmire for prey to unwittingly step into. The water masks the already difficult to perceive slime. She is fully aware of, but is pretending not to notice the wandering adventurer who has come upon her in the dense swamp. She is waiting to see what he does before reacting to his presence.

Marsha has appeared in several stories so far. She was introduced in All Is Not As It Seems. Followup stories involving her include Long Live Queen Marsha? and The Making Of A Queen.

What a fantastic coloring job! I would have never thought to use red and yellow for the sky, but it totally works. Her tail texture is amazing as well. Is this Photoshop?

I'm fairly certain Bokuman uses Photoshop.
