Planning goes well so far. We're getting the hard stuff done well in advance and having fun with the details. The date's "sometime next January" so we have plenty of time.

I've recently got married too. It was one hell of a day. By the end, we found ourselves wishing we'd done it with less of a wait between engagement and marriage, because, while the marriage is fun (and being married ain't so bad, apparently :) ), waiting-to-be-married is awful. By the end we were wishing we'd eloped :D

Either way, I wish you well, and a minimum of fuss re "who do we invite?" and so on! (If you're still questing for dates, perhaps 11th Jan would work, as all the 1's make it easy to remember. Important for men!)

We picked January 15th. Since that Monday's a holiday it'll be easier for relatives to travel. :) It's going to be a year and a good extra 5 months from getting engaged to actually being married. It's beyond long.
