And here's the colored piece!
I thought I'd try something a little different with the Lineart this time around, and I'm not 100% on how it came out. It blends in a bit more, which is good for a more natural looking piece, but the black lines normally helped define fine details...I'll fiddle a bit more with a different piece later.

Maybe you could pick a tone somewhere between black and the one you're trying to blend...like a deep crimson around the reds, for example.

Yes firmly believe the black lines define the drawing better, I suppose it has something to do about blending with the background haha.
