Heya, people. Long time no see.

I'll get straight to the point. This story was directly inspired by Tsumi's old "Pokemon V Exhibit" story as part of his "Trainer Chronicles" series. I've always been fascinated by the idea of this organization that holds battles focused solely around devouring the loser, and have been wanting to make my own version for years now. Finally I got to it as part of my casual (aka, I do not intend to win) NaNoWriMo challenge. Note that this is my own reimagining of Tsumi's original idea, so I've made some changes to the organization and format. Perhaps most notably is that in this series, not all matches will strictly end in soft vore. Some may simply end in death, and others in hard vore maybe. I will warn about those of course.

And yes, I asked him before posting it if it was cool to use his idea. He said yes.

Additionally, I think it's worth mentioning that the idea for the core match-up in this part is directly inspired by a pre-vorish picture I found on Pixiv. If anyone reads this and is interested in the picture, message me and I can link you to a copy of it (the original having been deleted). Be warned that as in the story itself, the picture contains constriction, stabbing, biting, injection of poison, bleeding, and dying.

Which also reminds me: This story contains constriction, stabbing, biting, injection of poison, bleeding, and dying. And yes vore of course, that much is obvious. If any of that offends you or grosses you out, you may want to stay away. Or you may want to read it anyway!

... How utterly cruel.~ As true as that is, I can't exactly say it's a bad thing in the slightest-- especially considering that I serious enjoyed reading this so far. It's a really neat, twisted take on what could potentially happen in the Pokemon world, and I hope you continue even if the original concept wasn't completely yours. Your writing is quite excellent, at any rate, and I'm excited that the story has a lot of momentum and suspense toward the forthcoming battles.

... that, and I love Seviper, even if he (she? I never really liked using 'it', myself) won't be making another appearance. The fact that Seviper's trainer was so infatuated with his Pokemon eating others was... quite enthralling, to say the least. I liked that little touch. A lot. <3
