he awoke the second he heard the door open. his heart imidiatly started pounding as he saw the woman who all day took away the others who surrounded him and gave them to their death. as he had done all day he watched her open up the cabnet and grab the terrible shots that paralized all who she had given imiditly and then a leash which she used to drag them away. after all day of watching he knew exactly what she was going to do. stand in frount of everyone scan through them and stare the one she cooses in the face.

Cara was on her own now she was the one who needed to pick who she chooses, who she wants to end. no im not going to think of it that waay she thought quickly moving her privious thouhgt out of her mind. now if im going to pick one it might as well be the one whos been in here the longest, hes suffered through watching alot go already so i might as well pick him.

The eyes of the woman fell upon him.his heart sank to his feet it was his turn to go. slowly the woman walked twords him. this cant be happening no this cant be! the thoughts flew through his head like a tornado. all he could do was run, run to the only place he could the back of the room. no time was wasted as he sprinted twords the back of the room and crouched in the corner trying to make himself look as small as he posibly could. but still the woman walked up and sat down in frount of him.

she looked at the terrified mouse sitting in the corner crying begging to let him go. but still she knew this is what she would have to go through when she got the job, no glass hearts were aloud. she reached down and placed the shot into the mouses neck.


There was a sting and then complete numbness. his leggs disapered from under him and he colapsed not able to do anything. the only thing he could hope was this was all a dream and he'd wake up soon and be fine. he sat and cried histaricly as the colar was put on him and was dragged out the door.
