Butt of course! There are more people playing Pokemon now amongst the people I know personally than there has ever been since Red and Blue versions. For some of them, that's the last version they seriously played.

Indeed, the last version I played was Silver (which at the time was amazing). Now, I definately can say that Pokemon B/W has managed to rekindle my interest in the series. At least, enough for me to buy it...provided I can get a DS first :V

same here, (except mine was the gold version) not sure why i went back to PKMN, i mean i dont even know (or care) how many pokemon are around now.

Probably best not to think about it. The initial run through of the game has about as many as Red and Blue versions.
