The next Zinger bug I worked on was the queen. She such a complex creature that I'm going to have to do her in a series of drawings.
The queen is the heart of the hive and also their leader. She rules over the minions of her hive using her mental psionic powers. The majority of the Zinger bugs communicate with each other through chemical, simple gestures, and a few vocal sounds. The queen uses the same communication but also telepathy to speak and control the other Zinger bugs in the hive. The Queen's telepathy even allows her to speak mentally with non-Zingers. So the human females in the hive can hear her speak. It is said that when the queen speaks to human it is in almost a gentle motherly singing voice. Here we see an image of a queen head and the human female she is chosen to be part of her, as part of her crown as it was. The two joined together mentally almost becoming one person/bug. The queen finds a pleasure sometimes to speak to her human crown. She's does the sometimes when she wishes to speak with groups of adventurers that have entered the hive or with traders from the local towns. It is a great honor for human female to be chosen to become part of the queen's crown.

So far this is just the queens head. She a very big creature so takes a lot of food. She has chambers in her body that she can hold large groups of girls to milk them and feed off their nector. Those drawings hopefully will be out soon.
