Once the plant has its victim, in this case Galas, completely enclosed, it begins the process of digestion. Digestive enzymes ooze from the vines whilst the leaves digest some of the resultant fluid. What the leaves don't absorb soaks into the ground feeding the roots.

I won't be drawing more of this plant for a while myself, but am happy for others to draw their own versions, modify mine, or write stories about it and I'd also quite like to see any that turn up with yourself as the prey... :-)
