Nicknamed the Mushroom Head, the psyonic scout bug is not actually a flyer. It is however capable of levitating it's self several feet off the ground at a top speed of somewhere around 35 MPH (56KPH) at a ceiling of about 30 feet for a mile tor two. It uses this ability as a way of scouting ahead and relaying orders to subordinates. (hence the name) It is believed that the scout is capable of commanding troops when out of range from the queen relay towers and is often seen riding on the back of a brute to save energy on long trips. It has a psyonic relay emitter that we believe allows the creature to use powerful psyonic and mind control abilities as well as control subordinate units and keep in constant communication with the queen.

Mushroom Head's enjoy molesting there hosts and corrupting their minds. They only bond with women who have powerful, if sometimes dormant psyonic abilities. This allows them to amplify their own substantially. The more powerful the host's abilities the more powerful the Mushroom head's become.

Mushroom heads have no carapace to protect their bodies and are vulnerable to physical attacks. They can however deflect missiles and, when anticipated, bullets too with their minds. A stealthy sniper, however can usually take one out in one shot. They have more in common with a garden slug than an ant or other hive like creature. Their bodies and vaginal penetration tentacles secrete a sweat smelling mucus that drips from their bodies from time to time. Though they leave no footprints as they hover along the ground, a skilled tracker merely follow the trail of mucus.

Here we see a psyonic commando that was captured and indoctrinated by the mushroom head. She has a large phallic tentacle that injects her womb with mucus that forces her breast to produce large quantities of milk. From time to time the tentacle will rape her for a few hours, at the end of this molestation, it injects her with the mucus. Often times you can see the transparent slime running down the inside of her thighs around the penetrating cock. Notice that her arms are pinned to her back inside the sheath of the creatures body. It possesses it's own tentacles to manipulate things but often relies either on other bugs or it's abilities to carryout any menial tasks.

These powers come at a cost of energy. The mucus the bug secretes makes its host into a living milk factory producing gallons in a single day. The host must constantly eat and drink fluids in order to supply the demands of her master's ravenous appetites. As such, they are often accompanied by bugs that specialize in feeding human hosts substances. Mushroom head's are rare and delicate creatures that require a lot of support outside the hive but they are not to be trifled with. If you see one do not engage in direct assault. To do so would be practically suicidal.
