“Are you kidding me, right?”

“Why? What's the problem?”

“Ehr... it's a bit weird...”

“Oooh, come on, it will be fine~” Violet said, while pushing an hollow pumpkin on Sycel's head. “Hngh!” After a big effort, she managed to make his head enter, and made a step back to see the result.

“Hmm... there's something still missing...”

“You forgot holes for the eyes, Vio.” The Meganium replied, a little annoyed.

The Gardevoir blushed immediatly. “Agh! You're right! Sorry!” She extended and hand, concentrating on the pumpkin, and after some seconds two pieces were cut and floated in the air.

“Done!” she said, releasing the two pieces.

“Thanks...” Sycel sighed. Why did Kevin explain to her what Halloween is? They could finally sleep for more than a few hours, but NO! She wanted to do something for Halloween now!

“Oh, yes, wait!” She jumped up hanging on Sycel's neck, and with an and cut two other small pieces, letting the Meganium's protrusions come out.

“Ahah, you're perfect, honey!”

“If you think so...”

“Come on, it will be fun!” She opened the bag she took with her, and extracted a violet hood and wristband, wearing them; as if it was not enough, she took some yellow contact-lenses and wore them too, making her eyes of a creepy uniform color.

“And now... the best part...” She went behind a tree and came back with a long, black sickle, with a shiny metal blade.

“You're kinda creepy, you know, Vio?”

She giggled. “Thanks, I know.” She jumped on her beloved's back, and raised her sickle, making the blade glow at the moonlight.

“Come one, Sycel! Tonight we're the Lords of the Night! Me, the Grim Reaper, and you, my Headless Horse... we're going there, in the world! We're going to find everyone, to scare the hell out of them! They'll stand there, in a sublime state of mixed fear and admiration for our power...”

“Vio...”

“Shut up, now, my Horse! It's time to go! Come on, run, Sycel, run as if this is the last day of your life, your life as one of the most powerful entities in this universe! Death and her mount! Violet, the Grim Reaper, and Sycel, the Headless Horse! Together, forever, in a deadly duet who will rule the world for the entire night, while everybody will just stand there, looking at us, immobilized by such a great show!”

“Vio... listen here...”

“What have I just said, Horse? Come on! Let's go!”

She kicked Sycel in his hips, and sighing he started running, disappearing in the trees, heading where the Fate was calling for Death, in that obscure night with just a few star and a big moon, while Noctowls announced they're arrival with their creepy cries, warning everyone that the so-feared Grim Reaper was coming.

“Where the heck is everyone?!” The Grim Reaper said, looking at the empty streets, the lights off in the houses, the sleeping town. “Where are the kids, asking for sweet rewards? Where the music of the creepiest night? Where the cries of terrified people? Why nobody fears Death herself?”

“Vio... I was trying to tell you... it's October 30th.”

“Oh...”

And here we are! After a period of silence, finally a new pic! This is the first I color one involving Violet and Sycel. c:
I don't really like Meganium's original flower, so I modified it.
I didn't know what word use to refer to the things on Meganium's head... Is "protrusions" alright? Otherwise, tell me and I'll change it!

I like the form of picture + short story. I think I'll use it a lot from now on.
