"Linda!" cried Sheila as she started at a run, past Rachel, Jeremy, and Kevin, and towards the little girl in the palm of the dragon.

"Sheila? Oh no, what happen to you?!?" asked Linda, surprised by her caretakers appearance. River held out the girl to the oncoming orca-taur. When she was in arms reach, Sheila snatched the small girl from the dragon's hand and held Linda to her cheek in a miniature hug, mindful of the girl fragility. Linda returned the gesture as well as she could manage.

"It's alright, baby." said Sheila softly. "It doesnt matter what happen to me. All long as your safe."

Rive smiled at the display. "Hello, I'm called River. I'm glad to see you two reunited. Linda's told me a lot about you, although she said you were a whale...

"I was... responded Sheila "I was also a human before that."

 "Really?" asked the girl.

""Yes... I was your mother. I am your mother."

 Linda was baffled. "What? How?"

"John Smith... Your father... My... ex-husband, he... I was dying. Because I refused to let him put my mind into one of his machines, he turned me into a whale and wiped both yours and my memory... He then used us in one for his experiments that was the last two years, one of his sick experiments. He even was able to control the program, force me to do things I didn't want to do, he still can. Then, I don't know why, but he brought us back here and did this to me. He made me eat two people. Don't worry they are fine. I so sorry for trying to eat you!" Sheila broke down into tears.

"I forgive you, Mom." responded Linda. "They tried to feed me to River. But she turned out to be a nice dragon."

"That man is a bastard." said River. "I'm going to kill him."

Sheila's eyes went dark as she responded "He has threatened my daughters life on more than one occasion. I kill him first."

By this time the three other humans had caught up to the giant and listened patiently as the story was told. Then Rachel spoke. "OK, well its good to meet you, Sheila. But we really have to get going, any minute now someone will find that the camera system is down."

"Well you haven't explained yet how exactly you plan on bringing this facility down." said Jeremy.

All eyes now turned to Rachel. "Um... OK your right. I already used Mr. Smiths computers to send a signal out using the old ultra high frequency communications antenna detailing the situation here. Hopefully someone will get the signal. My second part was to get our only guest left back to where she belongs using the artifact at the end of the hall." Rachel gestured to the ring of purple at the far end of the vast hall.

 "What then?" Jeremy asked.

"I don't know I hadn't thought it through." she responded "and I had not expected anyone but River."

"What were you going to do once you returned River?" asked Linda.

"Well I had hoped to go with River to her world. I spent some time there when I was with the scientific team to study the world to determine if any of the inhabitants could be brought back for study. Thats where I found River, or should I say she found me." Rachel looked up at the dragon affectionately. "At the time I didn't know about Mr. Smiths experiments, I thought he would simply study her. But when I found out about his real plans, I altered the findings of the observations to make it seem she wouldn't be good for that evil man's tests." the woman then addressed the dragon. "You don't mind if I come with you, do you?"

River chuckled. "Of course not dear."

"What about the rest of us?" asked Jeremy.

River looked at the rest of the party for a moment before responding. "All of you can come with me too. I've always wanted more little snacks."

Linda and Sheila laughed at the jest "You'll have to compete with me first." retorted Sheila.

"Uh lets just get out of here first." said Jeremy clearly not sure about the conversations direction. However to his dismay, Kevin joined in the laughter.

"Lets get going." said Sheila, scooping up Jeremy and Kevin in two of her other arms. With her three passengers the orca-taur took off running as best she could down the hall running on three limbs. River followed clutching Rachel.

As the group charged forward, the facility alarm sounded. Red lights flashed from the high ceiling and the floor along with and ear shattering 'Bong Bong Bong', alerting the men at the artifact to the rapidly approaching beasts. The group of scientists departed the area on sight of the rampaging monsters like any normal person would, with the exception of six men who had been standing at the back, and had now stepped forward to block the intruders. Zomb-jobs!

Unfortunately due to the nature of most of the facilities occupants, they were not armed, and were no match as they were crushed by the monsters who continued, uninterrupted to their goal. The artifact on closer inspection was an ever spinning ring that appeared to be made of stone with strange runes engraved around the face of it. Standing all over one hundred feet tall with an ominous purple field glowed in the middle of the stone ring.

"Don't go through yet! Dont do through yet! Put me down!" cried Jeremy as they reach the artifact.

 "Why?" Sheila asked rather surprised.

"Because!" Jeremy responded "What's to stop Mr. Smith from trying to gain more test subjects after we go through? We need to shut down the artifact!"

With that Sheila stopped her run and set down Jeremy while still holding on to Linda and Kevin with her upper hands. "Rachel! I'll need your help!" he yelled.

"What with?" asked Rachel as the dragon set her down.

"I need you to help me overload the artifact! Were going to stop Mr. Smith from gathering more test subjects. Get over there at that panel!" Jeremy said pointing at a control station. "This artifact uses 80% of the facilities generator power and we have not been able to shut it down since we opened the portal to River's world. Even attempting to shut off power proved fruitless; somehow it's able to keep our generators running after we turn them off. Since the lock down, we've been cut off from outside sources of power. We need to increase the current flow into the artifact in order to supercharge it. The artifact is made out of some sort of super conductor, if we can push too much power into it, then the material will explode and the resulting energy from the explosion will back feed into the generators, destroying them. That will allow the good guys to get past the security parameter a shut this place down. We will have to set it for 5 minutes."

And so the duo set to work at the controls and the other four watched their progress, anxious to be gone. After a few moments of intense work Jeremy finally announced "Thats it! Were done, lets go." Just as the group turned to enter the aperture. Shots rang out.

"Rachel!" cried River as the woman slumped to the floor blood leaking from a hole in her chest. "Rachel!" the dragon cried again as she reached down to clutch the limp body.

"You Bastard!" cried Sheila as she set down her passengers and took off at a flat out run towards the gunman.

"You idiots! Get away from my lifes work!" Mr. Smith was in a drunken state of mind as he continued firing at his mammoth creation that was charging at him. The bullets mire pin pricks to Sheila's massive body. Even when he ran out of bullets he continued firing his weapon in vain. Only dropping it when a massive hand plucked him from the ground and lifted him in front of his ex-wife's face. "Put me DOWN!" he demanded.

"No." responded Sheila. "You have taken hostage and done experiments on innocent people. You attempted to murder your daughter, you denied me my natural death, and you attempted to sacrifice a man and child all in the name you your so called science. You also just killed a friend of mine. For that you will die my hand and I can assure you that it will be long and painful." With that she jammed him into her mouth and swallowed, denying herself the pleasure of his taste. Mr. Smith had a brief visit to the storage stomach before being trucked along to the digestive stomach.

Once the deed was done Sheila hurried back to her group, knowing they were on the clock. River was still clutching Rachel's body as she wept.

"Come on River." said Jeremy. "We need to go through the portal before our time is up." River simply nodded, turn towards the aperture, and walked with the rest of her group into the
Purple glow.

The transition was almost instant as the group entered a wooded area. Linda turned to look behind the group to find an identical device to the one in the facility. However after a few moments the purple glow emanating from the center of the device disappeared.

"Looks like it worked." said Jeremy

"Know what do we do?" asked Kevin

"I guess we start over here, wherever 'here' is."

"Looks an awful lot like earth."

River let out a sigh, as she set Rachel's body on the ground, and began gathering dry wood. "It's called... Fantasia."
