This is a project I've had in mind for probably six months or so. It started off mostly as an introspective look at the setting of A Song of Ice & Fire (and something of a gift to my friend, Kahryl), but I never thought about how it would actually play out until just a few weeks ago. Regardless, this has certainly been the most invigorating thing for me in terms of writing in probably two years, and I am very glad I got it out.

This will be the start of a series that I am hoping to continue out to at least three parts. The second chapter has already been plotted out, and I have a beginning for the third, but not much beyond that. Feel free to read this as an adventure story, though it will require a good amount of knowledge about Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice & Fire), as the setting is heavily dependent on it, specifically events within the third book of the series and beyond. Much like the actual series, saying much of anything about the plot itself would simply spoil things. :) So read up, and enjoy!
