~The vines work like shoe horns, wiggling and popping the mouse from his boots. The flattened head of the plant opens, it's digestive juices already trickling from the thin hairs inside the two petals.~
*Sprouts, shall we say, some wood in his explorers' khakis, as he feels his shoes getting removed, watching with lidded, tired-looking eyes that don't quite seem to "see," as the plant's petals open before him.*
~Slowly socked heels pop from the explorer's boots as vines tug the thick leather coverings away. Meanwhile, the plant's bulbous mouth parts in anticipation of it's next meal. The soft petals start to envelope the poor explorer, thick strands of digestive fluids coating him as he slides into it's opening.~
*He wiggles but doesn't exactly resist, as his body is fed into the huge maw of the plant, and he begins to find out exactly what happened to those missing mice, groaning softly as he slides over the slick interior of the petals towards his destination.*
~The vines pull away the boots of the dear departing explorer, his socked feet wiggling lightly as he descends deeper into the plant's throat like stalk.~
