The appetizers are finally brought out from the kitchen to serve to the VIP guests! The head waitress has the honour of presenting the tray of appetizers prepared for Arielle, the pop sensation for whom the party is being held for.

I present the story from Arielle's perspective now:

Excerpt from the diary of Arielle Lachine

“…Now I remembered why Donald booked this club for tonight’s party! I had heard of this place before, but it wasn’t until we got here that I remembered why it was so (in)famous. When the limo pulled up to the club I noticed a few old people with protest signs who were barely noticeable behind all the photographers and fans. I just assumed they were the usual angry religious nutcases, but now I think they were angry religious vegan nutcases, lol. This probably also explains why some of the vegans from the road crew never showed up tonight. No one cares about those weirdos anyway.

It was good timing when we got there because I was starving to death. I hadn’t eaten for the past 8 hours after doing interviews all day, so I was ready to eat someone’s face off. I still had to do meet & greets and photos with various guests after I arrived, but when the food started coming out, the wait was worth it!

Ok, I was a bit shocked at first. I had never eaten live meat before. Meat has always been prepared and cooked, and it was a bit weird seeing it alive and moving, lol. In the old days, before the Great Contamination, people used to eat the raw flesh of animals like fish, and sometimes they’d eat it while it was alive! I remember my grandmother telling me how she traveled to Japan and had sushi that was prepared and served from live fish!

Now chefs are trying to recreate cuisine like that, but obviously without using animals. In a way, I’m glad animals aren’t used as meat anymore. The thought of eating them is just revolting. Maybe I should be thankful to the terrorists, because thank god those days are long over. Things are so much better now, but people still complain. As far as I’m concerned, the vegans and the anti-food weirdos can f*** off – I love my meat!

So back to the appetizers… they were small micros that had skewers poked through them. It made me a bit uneasy seeing them squirming, but I know they’re mass produced packages of protein without any capability of sentient thought. It’s just that they just look so much like us! Usually when I buy or eat micros, they’ve been cleaned and packaged into little unidentifiable pieces, or covered in a batter and deep fried, lol.

These micros were really cute, though. They reminded me of my dolls back home, and I could easily see myself taking one home and playing dress-up with it. Or other stuff, lol. The funniest part was that one of the micros looked so much like one of the assistants from last year’s tour. I swear it was her, even down to the red hair! The biggest difference was that the micro looked like it was pregnant, lol.

To my surprise, the waitress with the tray of appetizers informed me that the redhead micro was specially prepared for me! I won’t lie – I was nervous as hell because I had never eaten a live micro before, and now a group of people gathered around to watch the star of the party eat a very expensive and live piece of meat!"
