Well, today was a pretty nice Thanksgiving. The weather was nice, the food was great, and I enjoyed the company of family. Dad holds the tradition of cooking the turkey each year, and I’m sure it would've tasted terrific... that is if Chloe hadn’t gotten to it first.
The bird wasn’t even cooked yet, but Chloe figured it was the perfect opportunity to pounce on some prey that (to her, at least) seemed amazingly willing to give itself up. She gulped down the whole thing: skeleton, innards, meat, and even the little plastic thermometer. Nevertheless, we weren’t about to let the mistake of leaving the turkey unguarded and vulnerable to a ravenous catgirl, damper the rest of the meal. We were still able to enjoy mashed potatoes, stuffing, ham, rolls, and a further spread of Thanksgiving dishes; just no turkey.
Chloe, meanwhile, slept off her dinner on the living room couch for the rest of the afternoon; all cuddly under a nice warm blanket, wagging her tail, purring, and rubbing her full tummy.
And thus the moral of the story: if you have a catgirl in the house, make sure someone keeps an eye on the turkey on Thanksgiving.

My impression: "Hey I don't care if you're a catgirl, that was childish" but the first comment may have been a little OT from discussing the quality of the pic. ^^

Yeah I know it seemed childish, but being angry with her wasn’t gonna bring the turkey back... at least not to were it would be appetizing; that bird became a total write-off. =P

Nice to see her again. Even though she needs to learn what is ok to eat and it's not...

Yeah, Sergit, Chloe can be a handful at times. I’m still trying to teach her that, but I think it’d be an easier task to get the Earth to stop spinning. XD
