Derpy-shark is derp. And that's why I love him. ~<3

Actually that eel looks a lot weirder than that shark. Good thing you won't see much of sickly green thing in the next page. ^vvv^
~~~
So, um. I actually have a semi-animated version of this on my computer. Each frame and background had a 20 frame looped animation, and I thought it was amazing...
But the 'flash' file type doesn't render well when you have used masking in your project.
*Facepalm* I knew that, but I forgot, I knew it, yet I did it anyway... *x2 facepalm combo*
What happened to the shark's teeth?
Jokes aside, the shark looks good. AND you gonna make a multi page comic thingy. Thats even better.
They're really... really.. really small. O_o Hahah.. I don't know why I did that, but I did. xD
Heh. I'd always love a tip or two~ I'll keep that offer in mind. ^^
But even just pointing out small things (like those small, pathetic teeth) is a big help. :)
I could go on^^ number of gill slits, lack of nostrils, etc.
That would be really helpful, actually. ^^;
If you want to stick to the current comic-ish look that would be all, if you want some more hints as to making the shark look realistic, I could go on and on. (I enjoy those little consultant activities)
I actually was going for a the comic-ish look. I think it's derpy and adorable. xD
But it'd be nice to have some amount of realism, IE the correct number of gills, the right size teeth. xD
OK then its simple: I guess this shark is about 1,8m to 2m long and of the carchahinidae kind of sharks. The teeth should be about 3cm long and broad on the upper and slim on the lower jaw. They would be spaced so they can interlock and catch a bit of food in between them, the upper jaw teeth would have serrations.
Every shark except six-gill and seven-gill sharks have 5 gill slits. The fact that those who don't are named after their actual number of gill slits shows how rare this trait is.
Carchahinidae have short gills, much like your derpy shark.
Those are the changes that won't interfere with your comic-ish style (which is really nice to look at btw)
